Lattice for Windows: download and beta compatibility

Lattice has a Windows x64 beta alongside the Mac release. Check the architecture and current limitations before choosing it for your daily workflow. The beta installer is separate from the signed automatic-update feed.

Choose the Windows x64 installer

The current published Windows beta is version 0.2.0 for Intel and AMD x64 computers. Windows on ARM is not supported by this beta. Use the Windows beta download rather than a Mac installer.

The installer is unsigned, so Windows may show a publisher warning. Confirm that the download came from this site and compare its checksum before deciding whether to run it. Do not disable Windows security settings to install it.

Compare the SHA-256 checksum

After downloading, open PowerShell in the folder containing the installer and run the command below. Compare the result with the expected SHA-256 value. A matching checksum confirms the file matches the published beta artifact; it does not replace a publisher signature.

If the values differ, stop and download a fresh copy from the Windows beta link. The filename and hash below apply to this release; check the support page when choosing a newer one.

PowerShell
Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 -LiteralPath '.\Juracich Lattice-0.2.0-windows-x64-setup.exe'

# Expected SHA-256 (0.2.0 x64):
# 1363f1252349a7f76ff890b0e480c181aa2c03a3bc47617068a910c42145f622

Check the beta’s practical limits

The Windows installer has been checked for installation and removal, native and Python components, offline embeddings, and rejection of an invalid license. Full workflows using a valid paid license have not yet been verified. Consider those limits before purchasing for a Windows-only setup.

  • Unattended goals and paired Claude/Codex research are unavailable in this beta.
  • External coding CLI discovery has Windows limitations; confirm the CLI is available in your terminal.
  • Selected-text quick actions and Mac Activity integration are unavailable.
  • Phone access is still in development and its website preview uses sample data.

Start with a small, inspectable project

Use a repository whose normal checks you already know. Open it in Lattice, verify the working directory in a terminal, and confirm your coding CLI and its account are configured. Lattice does not supply a provider subscription or replace the provider’s sign-in process.

Try a read-only investigation first, then a small reversible edit. Check the diff and run the project’s relevant command. If a workflow is essential to your setup, confirm it works in this beta before moving your daily work over.

When reporting a problem, include your Lattice version, Windows version, architecture, the action you took, and the visible result. Leave credentials and private project content out of the report.

Keep the workflow in one place.
